A BIG UPDATE
============
CURRENTLY:
some flaws have shown themselves technologically, though those situations will be remedied by the end of the week.

LAST WEEK:
ray began some bass tracking.

LATE MARCH/EARLY APRIL:
is when the recording should be done for the EP and the first part of buisness matters will be sorted.

LAST NOVEMBER:
is when 3 of the 5 songs for the EP were demoed. of the remaining 2 songs, one is meant to be a studio construct and is not really demoable anyway, and the other is very plain and has been around for quite some time so it too needs no demoing, mostly postproduction.

A CDR SINGLE:
is an idea that has been floating around in my head since about 15 minutes ago. its intent (if i decide to go ahead with it) is to promote the forthcoming EP (and perhaps the LP too) and defray the costs of some of the things i'll need done.

LIVE STUFF:
may be sooner than you think.

APRIL:
is the toughest month of all.

LASTLY:
work on the LP is running parallel to work on the EP. this is a good thing.

CONCLUSION:
when i envisioned this update last night, it was wordier, better written, and warmer. now it's sort of cold and clinical and i apologize. last week i had some encouragement from a place i didn't expect and that certainly helped.

FURTHER UPDATES:
will probably be mostly told in pictures not in words.

much love,
brian.
